Honors Chorale Performance Dates for 2011-2012
The Honors Chorale will be singing on the following dates.
All performances are mandatory and performance attire is requested.
School Board Meeting-October 17th
Arrive in the high school choir room by 6:30 p.m.
JHS Commemorative Veterans Day Ceremony-November 11th
During school hours
The National Honors Society Induction Ceremony-November 17th
Arrive in the high school choir room by 6:30 p.m.
The Jenkintown Rotary Club Holiday Celebration-December 20th 2011

The Home and School Committee~January 17th 2012

"Once on this Island" Call Back Information
Dear Friends,
Thank you all for auditioning this past Saturday for Once on this Island.
The show will be terrific and we are looking forward to working with you all.
Before the cast list goes up, there will be call backs for just a few people this Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in the HS Choral Room.
Each person listed below has a specific song that they need to prepare. Learn the song to the best of your ability.
The second part of the audition process will be to create a "bio" from the list of characters listed below. The "bio" will be shared with the group on Tuesday.

Welcome to the home of the
Jenkintown High School Choral Program
Mission Statement:
To educate the musical community in establishing a "base" where young adults can learn, grow and mature through listening, singing, and competing amongst fellow musicians. To challenge ourselves through music.
To provide a safe environment for those who wish to further their musical ability. To work with musicians: teaching respect and enhancing our choral lives.
To achieve musical excellence through practice, fun and enthusiasm.
To give music and singing the respect and dedication it deserves.

One On This Island
Jenkintown High School students sing "Brand New You"at the Heritage Adjudication Festival in Boston, Spring 2011. This performance earned the Concert Choir first place in their division.
