The BelleTones Carngie Hall Here We Come! 2019

It is with great pleasure that we share some very exciting news!!

As Gold 90+ rating winners at the Heritage Festival within the past two years, the Jenkintown Music Department’s vocal ensembles has automatically qualified to attend the prestigious 2019 event, Festival at Carnegie Hall, without an audition.  

We  would like to extend that invitation to the 2018-19 high school members of the BelleTones.

The festival dates that we hope to participate in are February 22-25, 2019.  We are honored to have been invited, and know that this will be a fantastic experience for those who wish to attend.  

There are wonderful fundraising opportunities for the group through WorldStrides OnStage, as well as fundraisers that we can do weekly (monthly) at school and in the community.  

During the event the ladies will:

·      Perform at Carnegie Hall with other 90+ Gold winners.

·      Work with world renown choral directors.

·      Tour New York City; visit the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, see a Broadway show, and much more.

·      Accommodations will be in a first-rate mid-town Manhattan hotel; with concierge service for dinner reservations, and optional sight-seeing tours.

·      If chosen, the group may perform as an “individual ensemble”, representing Jenkintown High School, before the larger ensemble performs.

We look forward to working with all members towards this exciting event in 2019.
