Honors Chorale 2019-2020

Honors Chorale is Jenkintown High School select vocal ensemble whose members are committed to raising the bar of musical excellence and are inspired to perform to the best of their abilities.

Honors Chorale is a vocal ensemble whose members must go through an audition process in order to participate in the program.

It is the goal of this small vocal ensemble, to sing challenging literature; both traditional and contemporary.

Honors Chorale focuses on tone, pitch, dynamics, blending and sight-singing. It is encouraged that each member of Honors Chorale  take private voice lessons to enhance the group's musicianship and vocal techniques.

Each Honors Choral member will be asked to participate either as a soloist or as a group, in performing the National Anthem at specified JHS sporting events.  All vocal members will be required participate in the  End-of-the-Year music project.  Failure to do so will result in a failed grade for that marking period.
