2015 BelleTones Music-in-the-Parks Festival

The BelleTones were originated in 2008 by a small group of young women from the middle and high school grades at Jenkintown. Their mission was to create a small vocal ensemble that would meet outside of their regular school activities.

This group rehearses Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school and weekday evenings.
In Spring of 2009, the group participated in the Music in the Parks Adjudication. They placed first in their division.
In 2010 the BelleTones went to Forge Recording Studios and recorded tracks for the 2010 Jenkintown Choral Department C.D. It was a wonderful experience and the outcome a huge success.
In May of 2012, The BelleTones won First Place Gold at the Music in the Parks Festival in Hershey, Pa. They also won Best Outstanding Overall Vocal Ensemble and Brittany Schadel was awarded Best Outstanding Female Vocalist.
Update:
Beginning in the fall of 2015, The BelleTones became an accredited class for 7-12 graders. Middle School students will receive a pass/fail grade, upper-school members will receive letter grades.
