MS Music Dept. Adjudication Trip –May 13, 2016                                    Hershey, Pa

6:30 am          load buses

6:45 am          depart for adjudication

                        Continental breakfast of juice, muffins, granola bars on bus

8:45 am          arrive for choral performance-

                        9:00 warm-up/9:20 performance

Picnic Pavillion- All you can eat picnic meal (arrival-4:00)

Ride the rides!

6:30 pm         Music In The Parks award ceremony

7:15 pm         load buses and leave for Jenkintown

9:00 pm         Arrive at Jenkintown

Students need to wear their Jenkintown Music shirt for the day!

(No dress clothes needed)

We will have lunch in the picnic pavilion (included in price of trip). Students may want to bring additional money for drinks or souvenirs.

Students should bring a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes to walk around the park.

Students should travel in groups. The chaperones will be circulating through the park throughout the day.

Students should not leave anything unattended in the park. There are locker rentals available for valuables.

2016 Adjudication to Williamsburg, VA

2016 Adjudication!!!!!! Congratulations to the Band and Choir Department!

We are very happy to announce that our bands and choirs achieved great success this weekend in Williamsburg.

The Choir received 2 Gold distinctions and 1 Silver Distinction. 

The Band and Jazz Band received Silver Distinctions. 

Our overall music program at Jenkintown won the Sweepstakes Award for most group awards/distinctions.

We thank Mr. Eyrich and Ms. Davidson for their outstanding work and thank our students for their commitment to the arts.

Honors Chorale Update

Dear Friends,
We will be having Pizza tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. We will begin rehearsal promptly at 7:30 p.m. and go for an hour and 15 minutes.

You must come prepared to work-no talking-no silly behavior. We have too much work to do to waste time.

We have two performances next month: February 3/24. Both are in the community, and a great way to begin our focus towards our Adjudication performance and Spring Concert. In March, we go to Harrisburg.

Please, I emphasis strongly, positive behavior towards the process and each other.

If you'd like to have dessert at the conclusion of our session tomorrow night, please bring some for all of us to share.

IMPORTANT!!!!
Please put on your calendars our recording session.
March 5th 2016 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
We will record 3 selections for a CD, which we will use as a fund raiser.
We will choose our repertoire for this event as we get closer to the date.
ALL MEMBERS MUST ATTEND!!!!!
